University of North Dakota

Founded in 1876, the University of North Dakota is the oldest college in North Dakota. The school boots a student body of about 13,000, known for its world famous John D. Odegard school of Aeronautical Sciences.The school also has Division 1 Atheletics including world renowned Fighting Sioux Mens Hockey. The school has over 100 degree programs, and has one of the country's best nursing programs.

Ralph Engelstad Arena

Home of Fighting Sioux Men's and Women's hockey, the arena is considered the finest in college atheltics. The Ralph also hosts large big name concerts such as Toby Keith, CMT On Tour. It is also the host to the 2008 Men's World Curling Championships. Next door attached is the Betty Engelstad Arena home of UND Fighting Sioux Volleyball and Basketball.

Alerus Center

The Alerus center is a 13,500 seat stadium for Fighting Sioux football. The Center also has meeting, convention, and ballrooms for weddings and more. The Alerus Center has played host to a number of events including Blue Man Group, Bette Midler, Cher, Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac and more.

Grand Forks International Airport

Grand Forks International Airport is in the top 50 of the United States Airports. GFK is home to the University of North Dakota John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences flight operations. The airport recieves commercial service from Northwest Airlines from Minneapolis/St. Paul and is home to a FedEx Mini-hub.
